Hi, I’m Eliza Thompson. I’m a writer, singer-songwriter, advocate, and lifelong learner currently spending my gap semester in Boston. I’m so glad you found your way to my website. Welcome!

I earned my high school diploma through New Jersey’s 30 College Credits Program, attending Raritan Valley Community College for two years. During that time, I served as a student senator, co-chaired the Food Committee, and worked on initiatives to improve accessibility, inclusion, and overall student life. I graduated high school at 17 and chose to take a gap year.
I am currently an AmeriCorps Fellow through the Semester in the City program, living independently in Boston and working full time at the Madison Park Development Corporation. There, I am developing a community-based work plan to advance health equity in Lower Roxbury.
Creatively, I write and perform music under the name Mauve Tilde, combining acoustic guitar and piano accompaniment with vivid storytelling to create intimacy with listeners. I am also the author of Pure Honey, a blog that examines the feminist politics of the romance genre by exploring the disconnect between affirming female pleasure and the romanticization of abuse.
This site brings my academic journey, campus activism, music, and writing together in one place. Thank you for visiting!
